Vacation Stop # 1

When the Swede told me he had a show in Portland Oregon, I was going
to take whatever time I could and go..

Dallas went with the Swede at the beginning of the week and
then I flew in later on Thursday to join up with them.

Dallas had already gotten the feel for the city so she was a great tour guide.

Great old sign.
Portlandia...craft central

Famous flea market, every Saturday and Sunday.

We took the bus to the farmers market up at Portland State University.
It was the biggest and best I had ever seen.
Flowers and all kinds of berries and greens.
One cannot come here and not go to the gardens and the zoo.

Downtown
for some reason, even though I was a young girl,
I remember many of the buildings in the downtown districts.

I am always looking for the artist that can really capture the "art" of recycling.

We did go to the zoo before getting on our plane ride back home.

Thank you Portland for a wonderful restaurants and nice people.
