My Secret Garden

It looks and feels like summer has arrived.

At this time in the season of gardening, you just kick back, stroll amongst the flowers and enjoy your hard work of planting and weeding.

Fathers Day 2009

My dad was named Hilton

but he inherited the name "Turf" from his older brother.

Now he has earned the name:

DAD

GRANDPA

GRANDPA GREAT

Dad is in his early Thirties in this photo

He graduated from Brigham Young University

He was employed right out of school by Charles Pfizer

Dad is now 78 years old

He is a guy that really does not like to be serious in a photo, can you tell?

such a terrific dad and friend.

I could not have asked for a better Father!

 We have had buckets full of rain in the last two and half weeks...eerrr..but, this is what the rain does to this so called desert that we live in here in Utah!

I love "idea" magazines.  

I really love it when they have a pattern and instructions.

I really really love it, when I have a completed

 project and can give it as a gift or a "thank you"

 I made them with one of those terrific magazine patterns. 

I got quit a few ooohs and ahhhs over them. 

I think they might be a great gift to give young women and maybe someone even in their FIFTIES!
