Some billboards ...

I commute to work everyday.

( I am not asking for pity).

I try to see the beauty in my surroundings as I

drive the 47 miles each way in a day.

Billboards are a form of entertainment and information

among the buildings, agriculture and variety of

cars and their drivers that I look at daily.

Here is a new billboard I spied last week.

It brought a big smile to my face because Greg Mortenson is my

hero and a great humanitarian.

Carol and James

What a great night to remember...
The Carol King & James Taylor
Troubadour Concert

Here are some highlights of the night.

******************************

It started at the Traks station at Jordan Commons

(sister,me,niece (Chelsey)
The Swede was the photographer of the night.

We arrived at the energy solutions Area
(home of the Jazz)

Lights out...and there they were, to perform
for 2 1/2 hrs.

Carol can still movie it on stage, she is 68 yrs old and James is 65 yrs old.
They were so mellow with the soft songs they have written.
I guess that is why I love them both.

James was upstaged by all of the songs Carol has written.
It was a great memory and I shed a tear, thinking
that I would not see them again in concert.
It was a night to remember. :)

Ground Hog Day

That is what my brother's and sister's called it, and it was
definitely that....a repeat
of last week's Hill Reunion. This week..
The Terry Reunion.

We had a small group but had a
great time with Games,
Food and my brother Reed's Trivia game.

Here are the
Terry Trio Three Musketeer's
(left..Reed, Middle.. Daddy Dear,
and Big brother Greg)

Our Family scored the highest points
for having the most attendees
because of these "Kissin" cousins
just love being around each other.

We hung the Fon & Kate Terry Family tree

We had our matriarch there, our sweet angel, Aunt Alene
(hope she doesn't mind me telling that she is 89 yrs old).
She walks without assistance and she has a sharp memory.
Her health is excellent!

Turf..aka Hilton..aka my father, had more fun
filming this 2010 reunion.
Who knows by the time he gets this video put together
we might be able to view it 10 yrs from now
but that's OK.
...it's all about family!

Rewind....Repeat

Von & Maxine Hill Family Reunion Tree

Last week my extended family on my mom's side
had their "every two year"- family reunion.
My siblings and our significant others were in charge.

Here is a few pic's of what took place.

We had a total of:
134 generational units participating.

This weekend is my dad's family reunion,
guess who is charge of that one?

Good Guess!
