Have You Tasted???

Looks like candy....
Tastes like some kind of berry...
I am reaping the delicious benefits of this fruit..
Those are yellow raspberries kissed by the sun.
I planted them 3 years ago and this year was a bumper crop.
They taste like a cross between a white grape and a red raspberry.
I made crepes today and filled it with mixed berries...Y U M !

Red Mango Rocks

MY WORLD....
All you need are these items and ingredients to make the
BEST "Knock Off"-Red Mango frozen yogurt.

1. Krups Ice Cream maker
2. Greek whole milk honey yogurt
(found in upper tier grocery stores)
3. 1/2 c. sugar

Follow directions for prepping your Krups machine for making ice cream.
Take the yogurt in it's own container and mix into it 1/2 c. sugar
add into the frozen machine.
Place back in freezer for several hours.
Remove from freezer and turn Krups machine on for 30 mins.
Place frozen yogurt back in freezer for several hours to get a firm set.

I love to cut, slice, chop fresh fruit, whatever is in season.
You have got to try this, or stop by for a taste test.

ENJOY

Dinner Tonight

I worked a very long physical day today.

When I got home, I was ravished with hunger.
Lucky for me there was
one fresh chicken breast in the refrigerator and a
summer garden to pick my vegetables and herbs from.

I pounded the chicken flat and
poured olive oil on it and
a mixture of dried herbs, rubbed it with minced garlic,
then panned sheared it on a med heat.

Chopped tomatoes and blanched a zucchini,
Sprinkled the veggies with fresh chopped herbs.

You could call it: Chicken Marsala,
but it doesn't have the mushrooms or the wine.

I think I will call it:
Chicken Courgette with Solanum lycopersicum

Now go figure that one out!
