Preparing for my trip to Houston

Aubry(my oldest daughter) and her husband and children are preparing to welcome a new baby into their lives. Italic

I get to join them soon and with my freedom to sew, I have made
a few things to take to everyone..well, maybe not Todd..what do you make a son-in-law?
(a tie, shirt, blanket, pin cushion?)

I am always at a stupor when it comes to buying, making things for the male gender.

My most recent item is my version of the Hooter Hider, Nursing Cover, Boobie Blanket.
This is such a great invention.
(One that I did not get to use when nursing).

I made this pattern by Tara Lee at Pinkatilly blog  with a good quality 100 % cotton and terry cloth.
I liked the idea that you could use it, to absorb liquids(milk products).
It has two pockets on the back side, for pads, treats, pacifiers.

I hope Aubry likes the material print.

That fabric is some of my favorite! I love it, and I'm sure she will too :)

P.S. I saw on your profile that you like the book "the Kite Runner". Have you ever read the other book by that author, "A Thousand Splendid Suns"? I read them both, but "A Thousand Splendid Suns" is my favorite book ever written. It seriously changed my life! If you liked "Kite Runner", you'll love it!
