A Little Bit of Sunshine

Years ago, I decided to visit all the "Orange County Piers" in one day.
It was going to be an adventure...
I had lived my life "behind the curtain" for 38 years and had never
visited all the Piers on the coastline of the best surfing in the world.
I set off early morning to visit and walk the Seal Beach Pier.
Seal Beach is a charming small community...really no surf, but
the quaintness of cute cottage homes nestled
along side of retail storefronts make it fun for a walk.

Next moving south along PCH I came to
Huntington Beach Pier (Surf City USA)..my hometown
Big Pier, Long Pier, Historical Pier

Then onto Newport Beach Pier. This place is always busy with
bikers, roller bladers and of course an array of beauty bodies!
This is where I found
my.... "Woodside"

I walked into this bike shop and set my eyes right on this beautiful cruiser..
I knew that I could not live without it, it was going to be my bike!
( I think it was really the toy from my childhood that I never got...)
Loaded it in the Volvo Cross Country and away
I went to visit the Balboa Pier.

Ended the day by walking in the sand at San Clemente Pier

A Long day of just fun and excitement,
the family was quite surprised at my new toy,
we love riding this
little bit of sunshine!
