"Oscar.. Oscar.. on the wall...

Who will win You.. once and for all....?"

It's really not a tradition
(because I don't want to commit to having one every year)
but....
I will be hosting
Oscar Night
At the Swenson Home

If you are in town or around, stop by and play

OSCAR BINGO WITH US!
for her enthusiasm in making this night exciting.

If you're like most America and really
don't have a clue
as to what and who the nominations are this year...
click here for your own personal ballot.

Sunday March 7, 2010
Red Carpet at 4:00 pm
Awards at 7:00 pm

HOW TO DRESS UP FOR ACADEMY AWARD PARTY

  1. Step1

Even if the Oscars party doesn't have a red-carpet roll out, dress

up anyway. This may be your only chance to get gussied up this year.

  2. Step2

Dust off that old tuxedo or evening dress from the closet, rent a fancy get-up or go shopping for new duds. Dressing up in formalwear will make you look and feel fabulous.

  3. Step3

If you're afraid of attracting too much attention, wear that little blackdress left over from holiday parties. Very Audrey Hepburn.

  4. Step4
Rhinestones are a girl's best friend.
Rhinestones are a girl's best friend.

Accessorize with rhinestones, unless you're lucky enough to have the real thing. C'mon ladies, make Marilyn proud.

  5. Step5

Get creative and dress as your favorite Oscar nominee. This is where things get fun. If arriving to the party as a group, dress as an entire cast. And the Oscar goes to....

This is what I would wear to the Oscars
A neoclassical silk from Vintage Textiles
or this one...
(remember this is costume night)!
